In ink on flyleaf in eighteenth-century hand [probably that of the 1st Earl of Hardwicke,] 'From the Author'.. Binding: Eighteenth-century sprinkled sheep. Gold-tooled ornamented frame on boards, gold-tooled board edges, gilt edges. Spine stained dark brown and gold tooled. Marbled endpapers and pastedowns.
