Summary

Manuscript on parchment. Probably compiled by Sir Peter Legh III (1415-78) and may be in his hand. It describes his three houses and estates in considerable detail. Traditionally known as 'The Lyme terrier' though not described as such by Fothergill. Date in survey 1465. Re-dated in accordance with new style calendar as in Fothergill. Work commenced on 11th March 1466.
