Rubrication of printed paragraph marks on a1v and a2r. A few manuscript marginal notes in an early hand on e3r, e9r, e10v, and f6v-f10r. Eighteenth-century[?] manuscript note on front endpaper: "Dup -". Provenance: library of Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742) of Nocton, Lincolnshire. Manuscript book number or inventory number in red crayon on rear free endpaper, presumably the mark of an early eighteenth-century collector or bookseller: "A423". Binding: eighteenth-century full red morocco, gold-tooled; sewn on three recessed cords; smooth spine; wide gilt border of a double fillet with two inner roll tools (a floral pattern and a wave-like dotted pattern) and a gilt centrepiece design of repeated floral tools; gilt roll pattern on board edges and turn-ins; spine gilt-lettered vertically 'Joh. de Sacro Busto Sphaera Mundi. Ger. Cremon. Theor. Planet. Venet. 1478' within gilt fillet frame and with gilt floral roll at head and foot; wide comb pattern marbled endpapers.
