Inscribed on v. 1 flyleaf in Norris's hand: Torthworth Court, Glouc. [Gloucestershire] 2/-/- 5.49. Binding: Nineteenth-century tree calf over boards; gilt roll-tool to fomr a border; spines gilt; red and black spine labels with title 'Queens of England'; sewn on five raised bands.
