Inscribed on pastedown in Norris's hand: Newnham Paddox 5/10 46 [Newnham Paddox, Warwickshire, home of Feilding family, Earls of Denbigh]. Loosely inserted: slip of manuscript notes by Norris. Binding: Eighteenth-century full calf over boards; blind fillets and cornerpieces to form a border and central panel; brown leather spine label with title 'Burnet's Lactantius'; sewn on four raised bands.
