Inscribed on pastedown in Norris's hand: East Sutton Park 27/6 '45 Lot 725 [East Sutton Park, Kent, seat of baronets of Filmer, who were connected to the 2nd Lord Raymond, Benesham Filmer having inherited the estate of Pirton from him].. Binding: Eighteenth-century full calf over boards; blind fillets and quarter fillet; rebacked in calf; red morocco spine label with title "Josephus's Works"; sewn on six raised bands.
