Provenance: Final volume of this mixed set has "Courtauld Thomson" in his hand in pencil on flyleaf [i.e. Lord Courtauld-Thomson (1865-1954)]. Black ink stamp on flyleaf: The National Trust founded 1895. Binding: Late nineteenth- early twentieth-century half blue sheep and blue cloth over boards on three raised bands and two false, gilt spine title, gilt "CC" monogram between false raised bands, gilt top edge, dark blue silk bookmark.
