Binding: Nineteenth-century dark blue morocco over boards, onlaid gilt-tooled green morocco boarder on covers, front cover rectangular central panel gilt-tooled in willow pattern. Pastedowns are blue morocco with inlaid rectangular panels of red morocco with gilt fleur-de-lys tools, and gilt floral tools on green morocco inlays. Front pastdown has initials "AL" as centrepiece. Back pastedown border has gilt lettering "Designed & bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. London". Pink silk with gilt edge roll pasted to loose endpapers.
