Jacobean armorial shield on a mantle bookplate (Franks 2434): 'George Betts of Wortham in Suffolk'. Twentieth-century armorial bookplate (large variant), signed Badeley 1930: ‘Urban Huttleston Rogers Lord Fairhaven’ [i.e.: Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)]. Binding: Nineteenth-century half brown morocco; purple cloth over boards; sewn onto four recessed cords; five false bands; gilt and blind tooled spine; spine lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Norfolk churches' and 'Ladbrooke / Vol. II'; marbled bookblock edges; blue ribbon marker.
