With occasional MS. notes in the text and many others elsewhere in the book, including: notes and calculations on endpapers and other blank leaves reporting magistrates' hearings in 1744 and 1745; notes laid in of a magistrate's examination made by Sir Rowland Winn (1706-1765) in 1783; eighteenth-century newspaper cutting laid in, and another from the Gentleman's Magazine; a leaf of calculations.. Provenance: Internal evidence suggests this is the property of Roland Winn (1706-1765).. Binding: Eighteenth-century Cambridge-style binding, sewn onto four raised bands; gilt-rolled on board edges.
