Provenance: Nineteenth-century armorial bookplate, anonymous, with name added in ink ms.: Ralph Genge Price. (Not found in Franks). Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on v. 1 pastedown in Norris's hand: Sotheby 1939 Đ9/0/0. In another hand: pencil catalogue description for the book, with note 'See "Essex Review' Vol. III p.27 etc.. Binding: Nineteenth-century full calf over boards; blind fillets and roll-tools to form a border; spine gilt; red and black spine labels with title 'Survey of London Westminster Southwark. Stow'; sewn on five raised bands.
