Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on pastedown in Norris's hand: Blithfield Lib[rar]y. [Blithfield, Staffordshire, home of the Bagot family].. Binding: Eighteenth-century full armorial panelled calf over boards; blind fillets and corner tools; blind armorial centrepiece stamps of the Bagot family; gilt spine fillets; red leather spine label with title "Gentlema Instruct Part 1"; sewn on four raised bands.
