(Not in Franks) [i.e. probably an early bookplate of Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on pastedown in Norris's hand: Crosswood. [Crosswood Park, Trawsgoed, Aberystwyth, seat of the Earls of Lisburne].. Binding: Eighteenth-century full mottled calf over boards; gilt spine fillets; red morocco spine label with title "Garths Disp-ensary"; sewn on five raised bands.
