Inserted between pages 286-287, 18 cm 16-page pink stapled pamphlet Royal Horticultural Society plants and seeds catalogue dated 1924, with handwritten pencil annotations; 19 cm 24-page yellow stapled pamphlet Royal Horticultural Society seed sand plants catalogue dated 1940, with handwritten pencil and blue ink annotations. Provenance: in ink on front flyleaf recto of volume, inscription: 'Nina Upcher Christmas 1905'. Binding: twentieth-century folded paper pamphlets, each year a different coloured paper, black-lettered, faded at edges, stapled.
