Manuscript inscription on front pastedowns and title pages: "M: Hervey" [i.e. Mary Lepel, Lady Hervey (1696-1768)].. Binding: Eighteenth-century calf bindings; double gilt fillet border on boards; gilt roll on board edges. Each vol. rebacked in gold-tooled calf, with red title and green vol. no. labels on spines. Red sprinkled edges.
