Manuscript inscription (deliberately smudged) on front fly-leaf: "Edw Browne". manuscript names on thrid front fly-leaf, including: "Francis", "Anthony" and "Browne". Manuscript inscription on rear pastedown: "Ex libris su[m] Edu Browne" [possibly Edward Brown (1644-1708), the physician and traveller].. Binding: Seventeenth-century single blind-panelled sprinkled calf binding; plain spine. Recessed cords. Printed waste pastedowns containing Latin text.
