Binding: Seventeenth-century gold-tooled green goatskin binding (faded to brown), over bevelled-edge wooden boards; single gilt fillet border, with gilt acorn cornerpiece stamps; gilt acorn centrepiece stamp; gold-tooled spine (fillets and acorn stamp). Gilt gauferred edges.
