Provenance: Manuscript inscription on front pastedown: "Mr Stewart gift to Mrs Cowley Nov 15 1832". Engraved armorial device (anonymous) attached to front pastedown: chevron with three annulets between three lions rampant. Printed book label on front pastedown: 'Mr. Stewart Isle of Man'.. Binding: Eighteenth-century calf binding (cracked, very worn).
