Bound with 34 other 17th century sermons and tracts.. Provenance: Bookplate: Erthig (anonymous armorial). Manuscript inscription on front pastedown: "W: Yorke". Manuscript inscription on front fly-leaf: "Peter Kinge one of her majesties most ... [one word, illegible] and cruel". manuscript contents list on front fly-leaf. Manuscript inscription on rear fly-leaf: "To his Grace the Arch Bishop of Canterbury one of".. Binding: Seventeenth-century Cambridge-style blind-panelled sheepskin binding; gilt fillets and red title label on spine.
