Exactly the same text as copy at 1.B.5.25(3), but with different lay-out, factotum initials, advertisements, etc. Copy at 3.B.5.31 consists of the original individual issues. Copy at 1.B.5.25(3) presumably consists of a collected reprint (cf. ESTC t135263) of nos. 1-16 (which have continuous pagination and register), plus nos. 17-21 and 30 of the original individual issues.. Provenance: Marginalia and underscorings in pencil; according to Sydenham Hervey such "mysterious little pencil marks in the margins" are a sign of ownership by John Hervey, 1st Earl of Bristol (1665-1751).. Binding: Twentieth-century quarter-bound calf, with brown cloth over boards. Binder's ink-stamp on front pastedown: 'Birdsall & Son Northampton'.

Part of the Bristol Collection. The house and contents were acquired through the National Land Fund and transferred to the National Trust in 1956
