Catalogue by John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Ellys, lists shelfmark or catalogue code "I.5"; this code is inscribed in pencil on front pastedown. Manuscript note on endleaf in hand of Mitchell: "16 Planches.". Former shelfmark in nineteenth-century(?) hand on front pastedown: "g.C.29". Binding: seventeenth-century(?) vellum over boards; blind stamped armorial centrepiece. Remains of two ties. Pastedown with guard and endleaves at both ends. Staining and water damage to vellum and leaves. Worm holes through textblock at centre of gutter.
