Provenance: Inscribed on upper pastedown of both vols: "Victoria Cust [i.e. Victoria Mary Louisa Cust (1823-95), daughter of Sir Edward Cust and Mary Anne Boode, m. Simon Yorke III of Erddig in 1846]" [crossed out in vol. 2]; vol. 2 upper pastedown also has "Agneta Yorke" [i.e. Agneta Susan Yorke (i.e. Nena) (1855-1908),daughter of Simon Yorke III of Erddig and Victoria Mary Louisa Cust]. Binding: Nineteenth-century publisher's half grained green sheep on marbled paper boards, gilt lettering on spine. Both vols have loose text-blocks; vol. 2: upper joint broken.
