Binding: vol. 1 has nineteenth century brown cloth; gilt tooled title labels reading "Library of Entertaining Knowledge. Criminal Trials" and volume number on spine; vol. 2 has nineteenth century publisher's binding in textured purple cloth; gilt tooled title "Library of Entertaining Knowledge. Criminal Trials" and volume number on spine; decorated white and green end-papers.
