By the late Christopher Anstey Esqr.” on the first page of [4] pp. of wove paper watermarked “WTurner & Son” [possibly by Christopher Anstey (1724-1805)]. List of subscribers includes “Ch. Isaac Yorke, Esq; F. Com. Of Queen’s College, Cambridge” and additional subscriber the “Hon. Philip Yorke, M.P. Cambridgeshire” [i.e. Philip Yorke, 3rd Earl of Hardwicke (1757-1834)]. Provenance: no marks of provenance. Binding: eighteenth-century sprinkled polished sheep over boards on recessed cords, gilt spine tooling, olive-green spine label, gilt border roll on covers, gilt roll on board edges, green sprinkled edges.
