Summary
Bibliographic description
2v. . 4to.. In the Nostell copy of vol. 1 a stray conjugate leaf has been incorrectly bound-in between pp. xxxiv and xxxv. The leaf appears to be a pair of cancels, the first to replace pp. 65-66; the second to replace pp. 111-112. Manuscript [bookseller's?] inscriptions on rear flyleaf of vol. 1: fm/mm/i; 2.25; [in an earlier hand:] 1:16:0.. Provenance: Three manuscript leaves in the hand of Sabine Louise Winn [née D'Herwart] (d.1798, m.1761), loosely inserted between pp. 4 and 5 in vol. 2: two lists of european towns, and one list of French/English terms translated. Two of the lists are headed: "Tavernier Sr. Voyage page 279", and "Tavernier vol 1st p. 5th", presumably references to an edition of Jean Baptiste Tavernier's (1605-1689) "Six voyages [...]".. Binding: Vellum over boards; cords visible in hinges at head and foot; red spine label: 'Divili'; black spine label with vol. numbers.
