Binding: seventeenth-century full blind-tooled mottled and plain calf; sewn onto six sewing supports; double blind fillet border and panel, the panel with blind cornerpiece stamps; gilt roll pattern along board edges; rebacked (twentieth-century) in sheepskin. Red sprinkled textblock edges. Pencil note on front fly-leaf: "Repaired 1975".
