Toovey. Earl of Gosford sale (really J. Toovey's, 1884, lot 3207). Binding: eighteenth-century English red morocco. Covers with a border of unusal bird and floral tools. Gilt spine with two lettering-pieces in different greens. Gilt edges, red and white headbands, deep blue endleaves.
