Sheet of notepaper headed "The National Trust, The Dairy House, Ickworth" laid loose at the front, with manuscript annotation "Keep & not return to FS - at [QAG?]" with title of the work and publication date.. Binding: Nineteenth-century full grained red leather; double blind fillets to form a frame; five false raised bands; turn-ins gilt rolled; spine gilt lettered direct; marbled endpapers; page edges gilt at head; binder's ticket and embossed stamp of Aubrey, bookseller, binder and stationer, Salisbury.
