Binding: early eighteenth-century mosaic binding; border of small tools arching over a star, quadrilobe corners with a pomegranate on inner side. The centre has a decorative onlay in red with parts of the original green showing in places. The flat spine has a red lettering-piece rounded at the corners, a red onlay lozenge in the fourt panel and a red patch across the foot. Two other onlays of brown leather lozenges. A curl tool occurs in the corners of all panels, a tulip in panels 3 and 5, and a circle-lozenge-oval-lozenge-square pallet divides the panels. Line and cross hatching roll on edges of boards. Turn-in roll. Endleaves of red paper printed in gold and showing patterns of flowers.
