Binding: late eighteenth-century English tree-marbled calf; single-wreath border to the boards, flat spine gilt with two leaf sprays and other ornament together with a key roll, also used on the turn-in. Red spine label with the painter's name. Blue, red, yellow and black swirl-marbled endleaves. Blue sprinkled edges. Pink silk marker.
