Powys (Franks 24005) [Thomas Jelf Powys, of Berwick House, Shropshire; his daughter Anne Catherine Powys (d.1852) married William Robert Basil Feilding (1760-1799), and their son became the 7th Earl of Denbigh; hence the connection to Newnham Paddox]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on pastedown in Norris's hand: Newnham Paddox 1/10 46 [Newnham Paddox, Warwickshire, home of Feilding family, Earls of Denbigh]. Loosely inserted: sheet of manuscript notes by Norris..
