Prints" [i.e. catalogue code and plate count written by John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Binding: seventeenth-century elaborately gold-tooled calf; sewn on five supports, spine with five raised bands; gilt strapwork and foliate centerpiece stamp framed by a foliate roll pattern panel with elaborate cornerpeice stamps made up of repeated 'drawer-handle' and other stamps, and with a floral and foliate roll pattern outer border. Lettered in gilt on front cover: 'Gemmae & camei ab Æn. Vico Parmensis'. Gilt floral roll pattern along board edges. Gold-tooled spine divided into nine panels: first and third-ninth panels with stamp and roll decoration, second panel with gilt title 'Vico Gemma & camei' on brown goatskin label.
