Worked in blue and white thread Bookmark: None Boards: 5mm pasted boards, all slips laced in, 2-hole perpendicular Covering: full brown tanned calf Tooling Spine: blind tooled 2-line tool at head and tail of each panel. Provenance: manuscript on title page: "Ben: Browne" [i.e. probably Benjamin Browne, 1664-1748].. Binding: Contemporary calf binding, with double blind fillet border; spine has six raised bands. Binding totally detatched from boards. Spine is disintegrating, with only two cords remaining, and consequently all of the gatherings have become loose.
