The author (1704-1766) had been a Fellow of St. John's College, Cambridge, University Librarian and University Registrary.. Binding: Eighteenth-century gold-tooled sprinkled calf. Gold-tooled boards, spine, board edges and turnings. Marbled paper endpapers and pastedowns.
