Provenance: No bookplate, but has paper label with pressmark of kind usually found in books with plate of Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, and 1st Earl from 1776 to 1800. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Binding: Eighteenth-century full calf over boards; gilt fillet; dark stamp as centrepiece of both covers; different dark stamp on spine; black morocco spine label with title 'Homeri Hymnus Ruhnkenii'; sewn on five raised bands.
