Bookseller’s codes on recto of front flyleaf “Bridges 44-4-6-0” (from the sale of English lawyer, typographer, and book collector); on verso of end flyleaf: “m-yr-2”; “m-y-1”. Binding: eighteenth-century, full sprinkled calf; sewn on six supports; gild roll pattern on board edges; gold-tooled spine with various motifs in stamp and fillet panels, with gilt author/title and date on brown label (sourced from another binding): “SUIDAS / GRECAE / 1499”; vellum visibly covering the spine underneath the eighteenth-century binding; tail-band missing; textblock stained red; blank pastedowns and flyleaves; green silk bookmark.
