Two manuscript letters from Allan Heywood Bright to Matilda Talbot loosely inserted at front of volume. The first is dated 18 Oct 1937, and is written on paper headed "Pulteney Hotel, Bath". In it, Bright mentions that he was a schoolfriend of Matilda's brother, and suggests a talk about old times. The second letter is dated 25 Oct 1937, is written on paper headed "Barton Court, Colwall, Malvern", and appears to have been sent with the book itself, as the second paragraph begins "I am sending you a little book of mine which I hope you will put amongst your collection (I dont expect you to read it)".
