Lord Chancellor Ellesmeres Speech Touching the Post-Nati.' Some early underlining throughout. Provenance: Signature on title page: Francis Henry Egerton [= 8th earl of Bridgewater (1756-1829)]; his arms on binding. Binding: Calf, sewn on 4 bands; elaborately decorated blind-tooled borders, box edges overlapping volume contents. Arms in gilt on both boards. Green paper pastedowns and flyleaves, blindstamped. Spine-strip lacking; binder's ticket on front flyleaf: 'Bound by Welcher, 12, Villiers Strt. Strand'.
