Manuscript inscription in all vols. on rear fly-leaf: "JC: Vos. Gecollationeert" [i.e. collated by one J. C. Vos]. Binding: eighteenth-century full mottled sheepskin; sewn onto five sewing supports; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spines, with gilt title on brown leather label and gilt vol. number. Red and blue mottled edges on textblock. Comb- and swirl-marbled paper pastedowns.
