Note on flyleaf: pr[et]iu[m] 5s. (associated with one of the seventeenth-century ownership signatures not clear which). Occasional marginal annotations (early seventeenth-century).. Provenance: Signatures on front flyleaves: (1) John / Beckham; (2) John Harvard. 1632. (3) John Lambe. 1650. (4) Wm: Thornburgh his Booke 1670 [twice]. Signatures on end flyleaf: (1) Charles Harvard His Booke Amen soe be i [sic] it 1632 / 123456789 [also "Charles" alone] (2) John Lambe his Booke. Ame [sic] soebe it 1650 (3) John Harvard his Booke Amen soebe it 1650 [not same hand as on front flyleaf; perhaps in John Lambe's hand]. Initials on title page each side of printer's device: I L [perhaps = John Lambe]. Bookplate: Lord Brownlow's Grantham House.. Binding: Calf (seventeenth-century); "Cambridge" binding with diagonal slashes in top and bottom spine panels (no lettering or gilding). Double rules and blind-stamped centre-piece.
