Author's presentation inscription on front fly-leaf of both vols.: "The gift of the author to Lord Grey. 1757" [i.e. Richard Hurd, 1720-1808].. Binding: Both vols. in contemporary sprinkled calf bindings; board edges have gilt roll decoration; spines have gilt stamp decoration, and title: 'Hurd's Horace'.
