Provenance: Armorial bookplate on front pastedown: Grey and Booth quarterings, impaling Cavendish-Bentinck, 'standard' version, with a double-tailed lion [i.e. George Harry Grey, 5th Earl of Stamford and 1st Earl of Warrington (2nd cr.) (1737-1819)]. manuscript in pencil on front fly-leaf: "Duplicate in A.1".. Binding: Contemporary sprinkled calf binding, with double gilt fillet border; board edges have blind roll decoration; spine has gilt fillet decoration.
