2v.([16],793,[111]p.) ; fol. Two vols. bound as one. Many marginal annotations. With a considerable number of manuscript annotated leaves, in several hands, pertaining to the work, inserted. First folded leaf inserted at S4/T1 concerning a debt, dated "28th Feb'ry 1729"; signed "Bridgett Coldough [and others]". Provenance: eighteenth-century bookplate: Noel Hill, 1st Baron Berwick, (1745-1789); pre-1784; festoon armorial. Franks 14768. Edward Horsman, of Lincoln's Inn, in list of subscribers to v.1, may be at least partly responsible for the substantial notes, as many of his legal works came to Attingham. [i.e. Edward Horseman, of Stretton (1677-1720)]. Binding: eighteenth-century calf; double blind fillet border; blind roll spine edge; board edges gilt; five raised bands; gilt lettered spine-label: Salkeld's reports Vol. 1 & 2.
