Loosely inserted: 1. nineteenth-century newspaper wrapper of 'The Alfred: West of England Journal, and General Advertiser', with 'Right Honourable Lord Clifford Ugbrooke' added in ink manuscript 2. Newspaper clipping concerning sale of Stuart archives from Ugbrooke House, with date 11.2.85 added (in Norris's hand?) in red ink. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Binding: Eighteenth-century panelled sprinkled calf over boards; brown calf spine label with title 'Dupin's History vol: I'; sewn on six raised bands.
