Provenance: Bookplate on front pastedown: Armorial, Grey and Booth quarterings impaling Cavendish-Bentinck: George Harry Grey, 5th earl of Stamford & 1st earl of Warrington (2nd cr.) (1737-1819).. Binding: Inked calf; gilt rolled; spines gilt and highly decorative; red and green circular spine labels: 'Grose's antiquities'; uniform with Grose's 'Antiquities of England and Wales' (1772-1776) and 'Supplement' (1787).
