Manuscript inscription following date of imprint on title page and at foot of plate 1: "Eleazar Albin" [signed by the author Eleazar Albin (fl. 1713-1759)?]. Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf; wooden boards; gilt thin thick thin fillet border, with small cornerpiece stamps; gilt roll pattern on board edges; gold-tooled spine; sheepskin label with gilt title on spine; gilt vol. number 'Vol. I' stamped directly onto spine. Red sprinkled edges.
