Provenance: manuscript annotations detailing land acquired by the earls of Warrington and family details, in the hands of George Booth, 2nd earl of Warrington (1675-1758) and George Harry Grey, 5th earl of Stamford, 1st earl of Warrington (2nd. cr.) (1737-1819) (see for example pp. 224-5). The annotations of George Booth have been cropped by a later binder, suggesting the book was rebound by the 5th earl, who frequently completes these cropped annotations. Bookplate on front pastedown: Armorial, Grey and Booth quarterings impaling Cavendish-Bentinck: George Harry Grey, 5th earl of Stamford & 1st earl of Warrington (2nd cr.) (1737-1819)..
