Shelved with Blaeu's 'Theatrum civitatum et admirandorum Italiæ', 'Theatrum civitatum nec non admirandorum Neapolis et Siciliæ regnorum' (both 1661) and 'Atlas maior' (1662). In the Dunham copy Sigs. S and S2 have either been incorrectly imposed or bound, and are reversed. All of the plates, icluding the frontis., are hand-coloured in the Dunham copy.. Provenance: Monogram spine stamp: GW beneath earl's coronet [19th century] [i.e.: George Harry Grey, 6th earl of Stamford and 2nd earl of Warrington (2nd. cr.) (1765-1845)].. Binding: Vellum; gilt rolled, ruled and tooled; spine gilt; monogram spine stamp: GW beneath earl's coronet [19th century] [i.e.: George Harry Grey, 6th earl of Stamford and 2nd earl of Warrington (2nd. cr.) (1765-1845)]; spine label: 'Cellarii atlas coelestis sive cosmographia'; green silk ties [removed]. Bound in a similar style to Blaeu's 'Theatrum civitatum et admirandorum Italiæ', 'Theatrum civitatum nec non admirandorum Neapolis et Siciliæ regnorum' (1661) and 'Atlas maior' (1662), although the specific tools used on each work are distinct. This copy probably purchased in sheets and bound elsewhere.
