Provenance: crest bookplate: a lion's head erased gu. charged with three crosslets fitchée or., with motto above 'Quod adest' and lettered below 'Robert Marsham' [i.e. Robert Marsham (1708-1797), of Stratton Strawless]. Binding: nineteenth-century half-bound gold-tooled calf, with patterned purple cloth over boards; blind- and gold-tooling on spine, including lion's head crest; shell pattern marbled endpapers. Edges untrimmed.
