Morgand et Fatout; 1897 Waddesdon catalogue, p.62 (date misprinted 1620). Binding: early eighteenth-century mosaic binding in the Provençal tile à répétition style. Citron morocco with onlays of black and red ogival forms, six full rows wide. Pattern repeated on spine except for the red lettering-piece and red band of lattice at foot. Red, green, white and black headbands, red silk marker, edges gilt over marble. Doublure of red morocco with border. Kept within a nineteenth-century brown morocco case. Attributed by Michon to Antoine-Michel Padeloup.
